Washington, DC

Johnny, Mindi & Jesse spent August 17 - August 22, 2008 in our lovely capital of Washington, DC. Just for the record, we do not advise traveling with a seven month old. The trip was for business purposes but we used it for recreational excuses. We stayed in the brand spanking new Gaylord National resort, which was beautiful! Jesse enjoyed riding in the backpack on Johnny's back we bought just for this trip. We highly recommend it when you're visiting someplace when you know there will be a lot of stairs and a stroller will be cumbersome. Jesse didn't squirm or fight it at all - he seemed to like being high up and being able to see everything. He even fell asleep a couple of times.
